Co-founded Okta and has served as Chief Executive Officer and a director since January 2009 and as Chairperson of the Board since February 2017. Before Okta, he served as Senior Vice President of Development at Salesforce, Inc. from 2003 to 2009 and held various engineering and leadership positions at PeopleSoft, Inc. (acquired by Oracle Corporation in January 2005) from 1995 to 2003.

Has served as Okta's Chief Financial Officer since January 2022, after serving as interim CFO from June 2021 to January 2022, Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasurer from May 2017 to June 2021, Vice President, FP&A from June 2016 to May 2017, and head of worldwide FP&A from April 2015 to May 2016. From May 2004 to March 2015 he held various finance roles at Salesforce, Inc., most recently as Senior Director, Corporate Finance & Strategy.

Has served as Okta's Chief Revenue Officer since November 2023, after serving as Interim Chief Revenue Officer from February 2023 to November 2023 and as General Manager of EMEA from September 2021 to November 2023. Before Okta he was Vice President, EMEA & LATAM, Talent Solutions at LinkedIn from September 2019 to October 2021 and Head of Sales, Talent Solutions, U.K. from October 2016 to September 2019, and earlier held roles at Oracle, Finastra, Opentext, Pitney Bowes and CapGemini.

Has served as Okta's President and Chief Operating Officer since February 2025, becoming the company's principal operating officer. He previously served as President, Customer Experience and Communication from February 2024 to January 2025, Chief Customer Officer from October 2020 to January 2024, Senior Vice President, Customer First from December 2019 to September 2020, and Senior Vice President, Global Services from October 2016 to December 2019. He previously held leadership roles at SaaS software companies including Salesforce, Inc. and LinkedIn Corporation.

Has served as Okta's Chief Accounting Officer since August 2022. Previously he was Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer at Veritas Technologies LLC from July 2015 to August 2022 and Chief Accounting Officer at Saba Software, Inc. (acquired by Cornerstone OnDemand, Inc.) from November 2013 to June 2015. Earlier he was a Senior Manager at KPMG US and at Deloitte India.

Has served as Okta's Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary since March 2023. She previously served as Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, Corporate & Securities from August 2020 to March 2023, Vice President, Associate General Counsel, Corporate & Securities from June 2017 to August 2020, Associate General Counsel, Senior Director, Corporate & Securities from November 2015 to June 2017, and Assistant Corporate Secretary from December 2015 to March 2023. Earlier she was Corporate Counsel at Jazz Pharmaceuticals plc from October 2012 to November 2015 and a corporate attorney at Fenwick & West LLP and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. On April 22, 2026, Okta announced that Ms. Schwartz will step down from her role as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary effective July 31, 2026, after which she will continue as a senior advisor through January 31, 2027.

Co-founded Okta and has served as a director since 2009. He served as Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer from 2009 to 2023, as Executive Vice Chairperson from 2019 to 2023, and as Vice Chairperson since 2023. He is Managing Partner and Founder of Windproof Partners, an enterprise software growth-stage investment and advisory firm founded May 2025. Earlier he held various sales and business development roles at Salesforce, Inc. from 2002 to 2007.

Independent director since 2025; chairs the Audit Committee. He is a General Partner at ICONIQ Capital (since February 2024). He was Chief Executive Officer and Chair of the Board of Coupa Software, Inc. from 2009 to 2023, held various positions at SuccessFactors, Inc. (most recently VP, Global Product Marketing & Management) from 2004 to 2009 and at Siebel Systems, Inc. (most recently Director of Product Management) from 2001 to 2004, and was a Project Manager and Systems Integration Consultant at Accenture plc from 1994 to 1999.

Independent director since 2022. She is President (since November 2020) and Chief Operating Officer (since June 2019) of Coinbase Global, Inc., and previously served as its Vice President of Business, Data and International from 2018 to 2019. She was Vice President & Head of Corporate Development at LinkedIn Corporation from 2009 to 2018 (a subsidiary of Microsoft Corporation following the 2016 acquisition), and held various positions at Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. from 2007 to 2009.

Independent director since 2025; chairs the Compensation and Governance Committee. He is a Catalyst Advisor at General Catalyst (Executive in Residence 2014; Managing Director 2018 to 2020; Catalyst Advisor currently). He served at Akamai Technologies, Inc. as Chief Executive Officer from 2005 to 2013, President from 1999 to 2010 and 2011 to 2012, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from 1998 to 1999, board member from 2005 to 2015, and Vice Chairman from 2013 to 2015. Earlier he held various senior leadership roles at Time Warner, Inc. from 1991 to 1996.
