Robert L. Dixon, Jr. served as a Class III director of Okta from June 2019 (effective June 14, 2019) until the 2026 Annual Meeting; as disclosed in Okta's 2026 proxy statement he was not nominated for re-election, and he signed Okta's fiscal 2026 Annual Report on Form 10-K as a director on March 5, 2026. During his tenure he chaired Okta's former cybersecurity risk committee and served on the Compensation and Corporate Governance Committee.
He served as Global Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of PepsiCo, Inc. from November 2007 until April 2016, and as Senior Vice President until December 2016. Prior to PepsiCo he held various executive positions with The Procter & Gamble Company beginning in 1977, including Vice President of Global Business Services from 2005 to 2007. Since December 2016 he has owned The RD Factor, Inc., a digital and information technology consulting business.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he serves as a Trustee and on the President's College of Computing Advisory Board.
