Michael J. Brown Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President

Michael J. Brown co-founded Euronet in 1994 in Budapest, Hungary, by installing the first independent, non-bank-owned ATM network in Central Europe, and has served as its Chief Executive Officer ever since and as a director since the company's December 1996 incorporation. He also serves as Chairman of the Board and, since December 2014, as President, overseeing business strategy, financial performance and growth across all markets. Before Euronet, he founded Innovative Software (merged with Informix in 1988, where he served as President and COO) and was a founding investor of Visual Tools, and he holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Missouri.

Michael N. Frumkin has served on Euronet's board since June 2020 and brings more than 25 years of technical and management leadership at high-growth technology companies including Verity, Excite and Google. At Google, which he joined in 2002 and retired from in 2023, he led engineering teams responsible for most of the company's revenue, oversaw the launch of AdSense, and in 2012 founded the Google Accelerated Science research team; he holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from MIT.

Paul S. Althasen Director

Paul S. Althasen has served on Euronet's board since May 2003, having joined the company in February 2003 in connection with its acquisition of e-pay Limited, a UK company he co-founded and led as CEO. He served as an Executive Vice President of Euronet until his resignation in April 2012 and brings deep operational insight into the prepaid and digital payments ecosystem; he currently serves as a director of Lodwick Homes Ltd. and Pier Insurance Managed Services Ltd. and holds a business studies degree from the City of London Business School.

Thomas A. McDonnell Lead Independent Director

Thomas A. McDonnell has been a director of Euronet since its December 1996 incorporation and has served as Lead Independent Director since September 2014. He was Chief Executive Officer of DST Systems, Inc. from October 1984 until September 2012 and President and CEO of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation from January 2013 until his retirement at the end of 2014; he currently serves as a director of ENDI Corp. and holds a B.S. in Accounting from Rockhurst University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School.

Sara Baack Director

Sara Baack was appointed to Euronet's board in February 2024 and since 2022 has been a Founding Partner at Snowhawk LP, a private investment firm focused on the digital transition across cloud, connectivity and technology-services sectors. She previously served as Chief Product Officer (2019-2022) and Chief Marketing Officer (2012-2019) of data-center company Equinix, Inc., and she holds a B.A. from Rice University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where she was a Baker Scholar.

Ligia Torres Fentanes has served on Euronet's board since December 2022 and brings more than 30 years in the financial sector across capital markets, wealth management and asset management spanning Latin America, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. She spent the last 20 years of her career within the BNP Paribas Group, ultimately serving as CEO of its asset-management business for the Asia Pacific region until her 2021 retirement; she holds a business administration degree from ITAM and postgraduate degrees from HEC Paris and the University of Paris Dauphine.

Sergi Herrero Director

Sergi Herrero has served on Euronet's board since June 2024 and is currently Chairman of the Board at Intix, a transaction-data-analytics fintech for banks and securities houses, and a board member of Middle East fintech Ezra. He previously served as Meta's Global Director of Payments and Commerce from 2016 to 2019, where he built a global team to deploy and grow the company's payments and commerce platform; he holds master's degrees from UC Berkeley and Ramon Llull University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.

Brad Sprong Director

Brad Sprong has served on Euronet's board since December 2024, joining after a nearly 40-year career at KPMG where he most recently served as Managing Partner of the National Private Enterprise division. During his tenure he guided clients across many industries through transformations, regulatory changes, turnarounds and periods of rapid growth, and he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from William Jewell College.

Rick L. Weller Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Rick L. Weller has been Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Euronet since he joined the company in November 2002. Earlier he was Chief Operating Officer of Ionex Telecommunications, Inc. (1999-2001) and sole proprietor of business-development firm Pivotal Associates; he is a certified public accountant and holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Central Missouri.

Kevin J. Caponecchi Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer, epay, Software and EFT Asia Pacific Division

Kevin J. Caponecchi joined Euronet in July 2007 and served as President until assuming his current role leading the epay, Software and EFT Asia Pacific Division in December 2014. Before Euronet he spent 17 years with subsidiaries of General Electric, including as President of GE Global Signaling (2003-2007); he holds degrees in physics from Franklin and Marshall College and industrial engineering from Columbia University.

Juan C. Bianchi Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer, Money Transfer Segment

Juan C. Bianchi joined Euronet in 2007 following the acquisition of Ria, where he had served as Chief Executive Officer. He has spent his entire career at Ria or AFEX Money Express, beginning at AFEX in Chile in 1992 and becoming chief operating officer of AFEX-Ria in 2003; he studied business at the Universidad Andres Bello in Chile and completed UCLA's Executive Program in Management.

Nikos Fountas Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer, EFT Europe, Middle East and Africa Division

Nikos Fountas joined Euronet following the company's 2005 acquisition of Instreamline S.A. (now Euronet Card Services) in Greece and has led Euronet's Europe EFT Processing operations since September 2009, becoming Executive Vice President of the EFT Processing Segment in Europe in December 2012. Prior to Euronet he spent over 20 years in management and executive IT roles, including 12 years at IBM, and he holds an honors computer science degree from York University in Canada.

Adam J. Godderz General Counsel and Secretary

Adam J. Godderz has been General Counsel and Secretary of Euronet since joining the company in May 2024. He previously spent 16 years with Kansas City Southern, most recently serving as its Senior Vice President - Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary from 2019 to 2023, and he holds a Juris Doctor, an M.B.A. and a bachelor's degree in biology, all from the University of Kansas.

Martin L. Bruckner Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer

Dr. Martin L. Bruckner has been Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Euronet since January 2014. He joined Euronet in 2007 as head of software development and IT operations for Transact GmbH and was promoted to Chief Technology Officer of the epay segment in 2009; before Euronet he founded his own IT company, MLB Development GmbH.
