He brings more than 35 years of aerospace and defense experience, having served as Chairman, President and CEO of Rockwell Collins from 2013 to 2018 and as CEO of Collins Aerospace from 2018 to 2020, followed by a role as Special Advisor to the office of the CEO at RTX Corporation. He earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Iowa and also serves on the board of Aptiv PLC.

Brian J. West Former Chief Financial Officer

Brian J. West served as Boeing's Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from August 2021 until August 2025, when he transitioned to the role of Special Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer and Jay Malave succeeded him as CFO. During his tenure he led Boeing's finance organization through a period of financial recovery and capital-structure actions.
