Max Levchin Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Max Levchin is Affirm's Founder and has served as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer since founding the company in 2012. Affirm was spun out of 2012 MRL Investments LLC (formerly HVF, LLC), an exploration company he founded in 2011 to create and fund companies that leveraged large data sets in new ways. He also helped create Yelp and co-founded PayPal, where he served as Chief Technology Officer from its founding until its sale to eBay in 2003. He also serves on the board of The Coca-Cola Company.

Richard Galanti Director; Former Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, Costco Wholesale Corporation

Richard Galanti is the retired Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Costco Wholesale Corporation, a position he held until March 2024, remaining an Executive Vice President until his retirement in January 2025. He joined Costco in March 1984 as Vice President, Finance, became Senior Vice President and CFO in January 1985, and served as a Costco director from January 1995 to January 2025; before Costco he worked in investment banking at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. He was appointed to Affirm's Board effective July 1, 2025 and serves on the Compensation Committee.

Brian D. Hughes has over 30 years of experience in financial services and consulting and has been an independent consultant and senior advisor to the Boston Consulting Group since 2022, serving financial-industry clients on growth strategy, digital transformation and risk management. From 2012 to 2021 he held roles of increasing responsibility at Discover Financial Services, including Chief Risk Officer (2016-2021), and previously held executive roles including CEO of HSBC's Card and Retail Services business. He serves on Affirm's Audit and Compensation Committees.

Libor Michalek has served as Affirm's President since December 2022, previously serving as President, Technology, Risk and Operations from May 2021 to December 2022, President, Technology from 2018 to May 2021, and Chief Technology Officer from 2015 to 2018. Prior to joining Affirm he was an Engineering Director at YouTube and Google, and was Chief Technology Officer of Slide, a personal media-sharing service acquired by Google in 2010. He has served on Affirm's Board since 2021.
