Libor Michalek is Affirm's President, overseeing engineering, risk, operations, product, and design. He previously served as the company's President of Technology and Chief Technology Officer.

Before Affirm he was an Engineering Director at YouTube and Google and Chief Technology Officer of Slide, a personal media-sharing service acquired by Google in 2010. Earlier he held management roles at Topspin, eGroups, Talarian, Thinking Machines Corporation, and the National Center for Supercomputing Applications. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
