Karl Peterson has served as an Accel director since 2017 and was appointed Lead Independent Director in February 2026, having previously served as the Company's Chairman from 2019. He is head of Peterson Capital Partners, a family office, and in 2022 retired as a Senior Partner of TPG Global, LLC and Managing Partner of TPG Pace Group, where he led the firm's SPAC and permanent-capital efforts. He was a co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Hotwire.com and earlier a financial analyst at Goldman Sachs. He currently serves as a director of Vacasa, Inc., Playa Hotels & Resorts B.V. and Sabre Inc. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, where he earned a B.B.A. with High Honors.
