About

Andrew H. Rubenstein founded Accel in 2009 and has served as its Chief Executive Officer and a director since January 2010; he was appointed Chairman of the Board in February 2026. He built Accel into one of the largest distributed-gaming terminal operators in the United States. Before founding Accel, Mr. Rubenstein was a co-owner and executive of Seven, LLC and an owner and operator of Super Liquors, Inc., then the largest liquor-store chain in central Illinois by revenue. As previously announced, Mr. Rubenstein will transition from Chief Executive Officer to an advisory role effective August 2026 while continuing to serve as Chairman of the Board. He is a graduate of Brandeis University, where he earned a B.A. with honors in Economics and an M.A. in International Finance and Economics.
