Derek Harmer

Derek Harmer has served as Accel's Chief Compliance Officer since March 2025, having served as the Company's General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Secretary from 2012 to March 2025. He has been a member of the Executive Committee of the Illinois Gaming Machine Operators Association since 2016. Before joining Accel he was President of Stadium Technology Group, Senior Vice President of Progressive Gaming International Corporation, and held management positions at WMS Gaming Inc. He also served as a Deputy Attorney General in Nevada's Gaming Division, acting as in-house counsel to the Nevada Gaming Control Board and Nevada Gaming Commission. He holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice from the University of Illinois-Chicago and a J.D. from Drake University.
