Brieane L. Olson was appointed an independent director of Ulta Beauty effective August 31, 2026, filling the board seat vacated by Kelly E. Garcia. She has served as Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Sunwear of California, LLC (PacSun) since May 2023, as its President since June 2021, and as Chief Brand Officer since July 2020, after joining the company in 2007 and holding merchandising leadership roles. She holds a B.A. in Mass Communications from the University of California, Berkeley and also serves on PacSun's board of directors.
