Patrick J. O'Leary has served as non-employee Chairman of the Board of SPX since September 26, 2015. He retired in August 2012 from SPX, having served as Vice President, Finance, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer from 1996, and later as Executive Vice President in 2004. During his more than 15 years with SPX, he was a principal architect of the Company's transformation until his retirement.

Prior to joining SPX, Mr. O'Leary served as Chief Financial Officer and a director of Carlisle Plastics, Inc., from 1994 to 1996. He began his career with Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he held various roles of increasing responsibility from 1978 to 1994, including Partner in the firm's Boston office from 1988 to 1994. He earned his bachelor's degree in Accountancy and Law from the University of Southampton, England and is a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts.
