Jeremy W. Smeltser was appointed the Company's Executive Vice President on October 1, 2019 and Chief Financial Officer on November 17, 2019. Effective immediately following the August 9, 2022 departure of Daniel L. Karpel, he also assumed the responsibilities of the role of Chief Accounting Officer.

The Company entered into a separation agreement with Mr. Smeltser on September 3, 2025 in connection with terminating his employment without cause; he will continue as a full-time employee until December 31, 2025. He earned a B.S. degree in accounting from Northern Illinois University.
