Tanya S. Beder is Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of SBCC Group ('Strategy Building and Crisis Control'), an e-family office, and has served as an independent director of Kirby since 2019, chairing its Audit Committee. She previously was Chief Executive Officer of Tribeca Global Management, a subsidiary of Citigroup, and Managing Director and Head of the Strategic Quantitative Investment Division at Caxton Associates.

Earlier she was President and Co-Founder of Capital Market Risk Advisors and held various positions at The First Boston Corporation (now UBS) as a derivatives trader and member of the mergers and acquisitions team in New York and London. She is a Fellow in Practice at the Yale University International Center for Finance and was previously a lecturer in public policy at Stanford University. She holds a BA in Mathematics and Philosophy from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
