About
Ken Xie co-founded Fortinet in October 2000 and has served as its Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors since inception, serving additionally as President until November 2013. He is one of the company's largest stockholders and, together with his brother Michael Xie, makes Fortinet a founder-led business.
Before Fortinet, Mr. Xie was the founder, President and CEO of NetScreen Technologies, a network security products company acquired by Juniper Networks in April 2004, and CEO of Systems Integration Solutions. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and holds a B.S. and M.S. in electrical engineering from Tsinghua University and an M.S. in electrical engineering from Stanford University.
