Mr. Lamach is the retired Executive Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Trane Technologies (formerly Ingersoll Rand). He joined Ingersoll Rand in 2004 as President of the Security Technologies Sector, became Chairman and CEO in 2010, led the 2020 divestiture of the industrial segment to Gardner Denver, and continued as Chairman and CEO of Trane Technologies until July 2021 and Executive Chairman until his retirement in December 2021. He spent 17 years earlier at Johnson Controls International and has been an Operating Advisor to the CD&R funds since 2022.
