Chad R. Abraham has been an independent director of Columbus McKinnon since November 2021 and serves on the Audit Committee as an audit committee financial expert. He brings senior leadership, public-company board and governance experience, and financial and accounting expertise.
Mr. Abraham is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Piper Sandler (NYSE: PIPR), having become CEO in 2018 and Chairman in May 2019. He joined the firm in 1991 as an investment banking analyst in the technology sector, later built its Menlo Park presence, became head of capital markets, and was promoted to Global Co-Head of Investment Banking and Capital Markets in 2010. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics and political science from Northwestern University.
