Alamo agreed on December 10, 2025 to buy Petersen Industries, a Lake Wales, Florida manufacturer of truck-mounted grapple loader equipment used mainly by municipalities and haulers to collect bulky waste, and completed the deal on January 26, 2026. The purchase price was about $166.5 million, roughly 7.9x EBITDA, funded from cash and Alamo's credit facility. Petersen had annual revenue of approximately $75 million in 2024. $166.5 million (about $150 million net of expected tax benefits).

Alamo announced in September 2019 an agreement to buy Morbark, LLC, a Winn, Michigan maker of forestry, tree-care, biomass, land-management and recycling equipment sold under the Morbark, Rayco, Denis Cimaf and Boxer brands, and closed the deal on October 24, 2019 for about $354 million on a debt-free basis. Morbark, founded in 1957 and previously owned by Stellex Capital Partners, had roughly $233 million in trailing-twelve-month sales and about 720 employees. approximately $352 million (announced); about $354 million on a debt-free basis at close.

Alamo entered an agreement on February 24, 2014 and closed on May 13, 2014 to acquire all of the operating units of Specialized Industries LP for a total acquisition price of about $192.9 million. The purchase brought in Super Products (industrial vacuum trucks), Wausau-Everest (snow and ice control equipment) and Howard P. Fairfield (H.P. Fairfield) along with their brands and trademarks.

Alamo completed its acquisition of substantially all the assets of Bush Hog, LLC on October 22, 2009, issuing 1.7 million unregistered shares of Alamo Group common stock and assuming certain operating liabilities but no funded debt. Bush Hog, the leading maker of agricultural rotary cutters and finishing mowers in North America, had revenue of about $160 million in 2008. 1.7 million unregistered Alamo Group common shares (cash value not disclosed).

Alamo purchased substantially all of the assets of the Gradall excavator business from JLG Industries on February 3, 2006 for about $39.4 million, including the manufacturing plant in New Philadelphia, Ohio. Gradall, a leading maker of wheeled and crawler telescopic excavators in North America, had excavator revenues of roughly $75.6 million for its fiscal year ended July 31, 2005.
This is an exciting development for Alamo and one that will be synergistic to our business. Alamo acquired substantially all of the assets of Canada-based Tenco Group, Inc. and its subsidiaries effective October 18, 2011. Tenco makes snow-removal equipment including snow blades, blowers, dump bodies and spreaders, with operations in Quebec and New York, sold mainly through dealers to governmental end-users and snow-removal contractors.

Alamo acquired 100% of the equity of U.K.-based Timberwolf Limited on October 26, 2021 for about $25.0 million. Timberwolf is a leading maker of commercial wood chippers serving the U.K. and European Union markets. In 2025 Timberwolf acquired the GreenMech brand and intellectual property. approximately $25.0 million.

Ring-O-Matic is a leading maker of trailer-mounted and truck-mounted vacuum excavators and excavation systems used for hydro-excavation, safe digging near utilities, trenching, sewer jetting and storm-drain cleaning. approximately $17.5 million.

On October 31, 2025 Alamo (through its Timberwolf business) acquired certain U.K. assets of GreenMech Ltd. and 100% of GreenMech's subsidiaries in France and Germany for about £2.6 million (roughly $3.6 million). GreenMech is a U.K.-based maker of wood chippers and tree-care equipment sold worldwide. approximately £2.6 million (about $3.6 million).
On October 31, 2025, the Company acquired certain UK assets of GreenMech Ltd. (GreenMech), and 100% of the issued and outstanding equity capital of GreenMech subsidiaries in France and Germany. Alamo acquired R.P.M. Tech Inc. in 2017 (August 8), a Canadian maker of heavy-duty snow-removal equipment and associated parts, selling mainly to governmental agencies, contractors and airports. RPM complemented Alamo's existing snow-removal products, including a line of mechanical snow blowers; its operations were consolidated into Alamo's nearby Tenco facility in 2020.
Alamo acquired substantially all the assets of Old Dominion Brush Company (ODB) in 2017 (June 26). Richmond, Virginia-based ODB makes leaf-collection equipment and replacement brooms for street sweepers, sold to municipalities, contractors and commercial landscape markets in North America.
Alamo acquired 100% of the shares of Santa Izabel Agro Industria Ltda. in 2017 (June 6). Santa Izabel designs, manufactures and markets agricultural implements, sugar-cane trailers and other vegetation-management products sold throughout Brazil.
Alamo acquired Herder Implementos e Maquinas Agricolas Ltda. in 2015 (March 10), a Brazilian maker of flail mowers sold direct and through dealers to agricultural and roadside-maintenance markets. The acquisition established Alamo's presence in Brazil.
Alamo acquired U.K.-based Kellands Agricultural Ltd. and its subsidiary Multidrive Tractors Ltd. in 2014 (April 2). Kellands makes self-propelled sprayers and multi-purpose load-carrying tractor vehicles; its products are now sold under the McConnel brand.
Alamo acquired Fieldquip Australia Pty Ltd in 2014 (April 7), a manufacturer of rotary cutters and distributor of various lifestyle products, broadening Alamo's manufacturing and distribution of vegetation-management machinery in Australia.
Alamo acquired substantially all the assets of Superior Equipment Australia Pty Ltd in 2013 (month not disclosed in filings). Superior is a small Australian maker of agricultural mowing equipment, attachments and parts sold mainly to agricultural end-users; its operations were consolidated with Alamo's Fieldquip location.
Alamo acquired Rivard Developpement S.A.S. in 2008, a leading French maker of vacuum trucks, high-pressure cleaning systems and trenchers, broadening Alamo's product offering to European and other customers.
Alamo acquired Henke Manufacturing Corporation in 2007, a maker of specialty snow-removal attachments mounted on heavy industrial equipment and medium-to-heavy-duty trucks, serving governmental agencies, contractors and industrial users.
Alamo acquired 100% of Nite-Hawk Sweepers LLC in 2006, a maker of truck-mounted sweeping equipment primarily for the contract-sweeping market, complementing its Schwarze sweeper line.
Alamo purchased the vacuum-truck and sweeper lines of Clean Earth Environmental Group and Clean Earth Kentucky (collectively VacAll) in 2006, including product lines, inventory and certain assets. Production was moved to the Gradall facility in New Philadelphia, Ohio.
Alamo acquired 100% of the stock of U.K.-based Spearhead Machinery Limited in 2005 and merged its manufacturing into Bomford's facility. Spearhead makes tractor-mounted vegetation-maintenance equipment including reach mowers, flail mowers and rotary cutters.
Alamo acquired Rousseau Holdings S.A. in 2004, a leading French maker of hedge and verge mowers. Combined with McConnel, Bomford, SMA and Forges Gorce, Rousseau made Alamo one of the largest vegetation-management equipment manufacturers in the European market.
Alamo purchased inventory, fixed assets and certain other assets of Valu-Bilt Tractor Parts (a subsidiary of Quality Stores, Inc.) in 2002. Valu-Bilt distributes new, used and rebuilt tractor parts and agricultural wear parts via catalog, the internet and wholesale to dealers. Operations were consolidated into Alamo's Herschel facility.
Alamo acquired Schulte Industries Ltd. and related entities in 2000, a Canadian maker of mechanical rotary mowers, snow blowers and rock-removal equipment. Schulte strengthened Alamo's Canadian marketing and manufacturing and expanded its range of large heavy-duty rotary mowers.
Alamo purchased the product line and assets of Twose of Tiverton Ltd. in 2000, a small U.K. regional maker of power-arm flail mowers, harrows and rollers. Twose was consolidated into McConnel and Bomford and its brand merged into the McConnel product line.
Alamo acquired Schwarze Industries, Inc. in 2000, a maker of a broad range of street-sweeping equipment sold to governmental agencies and contractors. In 2004 Alamo added the pothole-patcher product line from Wildcat Manufacturing to the Schwarze operation.
Alamo acquired Forges Gorce, a French flail-blade manufacturer, in 1996. Combined with McConnel, Bomford and SMA, it helped make Alamo one of the largest vegetation-management equipment makers in the European market.
Alamo acquired Herschel Corporation in 1995, a manufacturer and distributor of aftermarket farm-equipment replacement and wear parts, expanding its agricultural business. Alamo sold substantially all the Herschel assets in 2024.
Alamo added M&W Gear Company in early 1995, letting it enter the manufacturing and distribution of tillage equipment, which complemented its Rhino distribution network.
Alamo acquired Tiger Corporation in late 1994, adding to its presence in industrial and governmental vegetation markets. Tiger makes durable rotary and flail boom mowers, side and rear mowers, truck-mounted boom mowers and specialty mowing attachments.
Alamo acquired Orleans, France-based Signalisation Moderne Autoroutiere S.A. (SMA) in 1994. SMA makes heavy-duty, tractor-mounted grass and hedge mowing equipment and replacement parts, sold primarily to departments of the French government.
