Alamo agreed on December 10, 2025 to buy Petersen Industries, a Lake Wales, Florida manufacturer of truck-mounted grapple loader equipment used mainly by municipalities and haulers to collect bulky waste, and completed the deal on January 26, 2026. The purchase price was about $166.5 million, roughly 7.9x EBITDA, funded from cash and Alamo's credit facility. Petersen had annual revenue of approximately $75 million in 2024.
Alamo said the deal fits its strategy of buying profitable, innovative market leaders serving stable, steadily growing end-markets, and that it can unlock cost savings and revenue growth by integrating Petersen into its supply chain and dealer networks.
