Bin (Tony) Zhao is the founder of Agora, Inc. and has served as its executive Director, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer since founding the company in November 2013. He is primarily responsible for the company's overall strategy, business development, operations and management, and concurrently holds directorships in certain other Group members, including Agora Lab.
Mr. Zhao has deep technology expertise with more than 30 years of experience in the software and cloud-services industry. He holds a bachelor's degree in radio and electronics from Peking University in the PRC, earned in July 1992.
