Carla J. Bailo has served as an Advance Auto Parts director since August 2020, chairing the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and serving on the Audit Committee, and is designated an audit committee financial expert. She has been President and Chief Executive Officer of ECOS Consulting, LLC, an energy-efficiency solutions provider, since 2014, and previously served as President and CEO of The Center for Automotive Research from October 2017 to September 2022. Earlier she held leadership roles at Nissan Motor Co. and began her career at General Motors. She has served on the board of Vesuvius plc since February 2023 and was a director of SM Energy Company from 2018 to February 2026.
