Robert P. Goodman has served as a director of ACV Auctions since 2017 and is the independent Chair of the Board and chair of the Compensation Committee. He is a Managing Partner and Director at Bessemer Venture Partners, which he joined in 1998, and is a Managing Member of Deer Management Co. LLC, the management company for Bessemer's investment funds; he is also Director, President and CEO of Bessemer Securities Corporation. Before joining Bessemer he founded and led three privately held telecommunications companies as CEO. Mr. Goodman served on the board of Blue Apron Holdings from November 2015 to December 2019 and currently serves on the board of CS Disco, his only other public-company board. He holds a B.A. in Latin American studies from Brown University and an M.B.A. from Columbia University.
