Matthew R. Cohler has served as a member of 1stDibs' board of directors since 2011 and serves as the company's lead independent director, presiding over meetings at which the Chairperson is not present and acting as a liaison between the Chairperson and the independent directors. He is a member of the audit committee.
Mr. Cohler has been a Partner at Benchmark Capital, a venture capital firm, since June 2008. Before Benchmark, he served as Vice President of Product Management at Meta Platforms, Inc. from 2005 to June 2008, and as Vice President of LinkedIn Corporation from 2003 to 2005.
He holds a B.A. in Music from Yale University.
