David S. Rosenblatt has served as 1stDibs' Chief Executive Officer and as a member of its board of directors since November 2011, and serves as Chairperson of the board. The board's leadership structure combines the Chairperson and CEO roles, counterbalanced by a lead independent director.
Mr. Rosenblatt previously served as President, Global Display Advertising of Google, Inc. from October 2008 through May 2009. He joined Google in March 2008 in connection with Google's acquisition of DoubleClick, where he had joined in 1997 as part of the initial management team, serving as President of DoubleClick from 2000 through July 2005 and as Chief Executive Officer from July 2005 through March 2008.
He holds a B.A. in East Asian Studies from Yale University and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
