Brian J. "Skip" Schipper has served as a member of 1stDibs' board of directors since June 2021. He chairs the compensation committee.
Since May 2016, Mr. Schipper has served as Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer for Yext, Inc. He has served as a director of DHI Group, Inc. since February 2014 and as chairman of the DHI board since May 2019. From January 2014 to March 2016 he led Human Resources at X Corp. Prior to that he served as Chief Human Resources Officer of Groupon, Inc. from June 2011 to January 2014, and as Chief Human Resources Officer at Cisco Systems, Inc. from October 2006 to June 2011. He has also held executive HR and administrative roles at Microsoft Corporation, DoubleClick, Inc., PepsiCo, Inc., Compaq Computer Corp. and Harris Corporation.
He holds an MBA from Michigan State University and a B.A. from Hope College.
