Datanyze is a San Mateo, California technographics provider that uses machine learning to track the technologies deployed across tens of millions of companies worldwide. It was acquired in September 2018 (announced September 26, 2018) by Zoom Information, Inc. -- the legacy ZoomInfo business -- before that company was itself acquired by DiscoverOrg in February 2019. The deal let ZoomInfo layer real-time technology-adoption signals on top of its company and contact records so sellers could target prospects by their tech stack. Financial terms were not disclosed.
NeverBounce, operated by Metrics Delivered LLC, is an email-verification and list-cleaning service that validates deliverability in real time. ZoomInfo (then DiscoverOrg) acquired its assets in September 2018 to improve the accuracy and deliverability of the contact data in its platform. Financial terms were not disclosed.
On February 1, 2019, DiscoverOrg acquired 100% of the stock of Zoom Information, Inc. -- the original ZoomInfo -- a provider of company and contact information to sales and marketing professionals that served more than 8,000 customers with operations in the U.S., Israel, and Russia. The combined company subsequently adopted the ZoomInfo brand, merging DiscoverOrg's data assets with the legacy ZoomInfo platform. Komiko (Komiko LTD) offered an AI-powered sales and customer-success solution for B2B companies, mining activity data to surface account engagement and relationship insights. ZoomInfo, through its DiscoverOrg subsidiary, acquired certain assets and assumed certain liabilities of Komiko on October 9, 2019 for total consideration of $8.5 million, comprising $8.3 million of cash and $0.2 million of contingent earnout. Komiko's developed technology was integrated with DiscoverOrg's platform.
EverString (EverString Technology, LLC) was an AI-powered B2B data-as-a-service provider with strong coverage of small and mid-sized businesses. ZoomInfo acquired all of EverString's membership interests on November 3, 2020, announcing the deal on November 5, 2020, and used its data graph to broaden ZoomInfo's view of the total universe of companies and prospects. The purchase was completed alongside the Clickagy acquisition for combined consideration of approximately $71.7 million in cash and stock, which was not separately disclosed by target.
Clickagy (Clickagy, LLC) was a provider of AI-powered buyer-intent data that identifies companies showing above-average research activity on B2B topics. ZoomInfo acquired Clickagy's assets on October 14, 2020, announced the deal on October 15, 2020, and used the technology to launch its Streaming Intent product, which flags in-market accounts within minutes of their web activity. The purchase was completed together with EverString for combined consideration of about $71.7 million in cash and stock, not separately disclosed by target.
Insent (Insent, Inc.) built a conversational-marketing platform that identifies website visitors in real time and uses AI-driven routing rules to start live conversations and lift conversions. ZoomInfo acquired all of Insent's outstanding equity on June 7, 2021 for total consideration of $34.0 million, consisting of $32.9 million in cash and $1.1 million in estimated deferred consideration. ZoomInfo relaunched the product as ZoomInfo Chat, available to new and existing customers later that year.
Chorus.ai, operated by AffectLayer, Inc., is a conversation-intelligence platform that records, transcribes, and analyzes sales calls and meetings to coach revenue teams and surface deal insights. ZoomInfo acquired substantially all of its net assets on July 12, 2021, announcing the transaction on July 13, 2021, to add a new category of engagement insight to its go-to-market platform. After a tax-related purchase-price adjustment, total cash consideration was $547.4 million; the deal was originally announced at approximately $575 million and cash paid at closing was funded partly with $225 million of revolving-credit borrowings.

RingLead (RingLead, Inc.) was a leader in data orchestration and revenue-operations automation, helping companies deduplicate, cleanse, normalize, and route customer data that is siloed across disconnected systems. ZoomInfo acquired substantially all of RingLead's net assets on September 8, 2021, announced September 9, 2021, for total consideration of $118.0 million, consisting of $116.9 million in cash and $1.1 million in estimated deferred consideration. The technology lets customers unify ZoomInfo intelligence with their own data sources to shorten the path from data to engagement.
Comparably (Comparably, Inc.) runs a workplace-culture, compensation, and employer-brand review platform used by millions of people each month across roughly 20 workplace categories. ZoomInfo acquired all of Comparably's outstanding equity in April 2022, announcing the deal on May 2, 2022, to enrich its TalentOS recruiting product with proprietary culture, salary, and candidate data.
