Erika Rottenberg has served as a member of Twilio's board of directors since June 2016 and chairs the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. From 2018 to 2022 she served as Vice President and General Counsel of the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, and as a Strategic Advisor there from March 2022 to December 2023.

From 2008 to 2014 she was Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at LinkedIn Corporation, and earlier held general counsel roles at SumTotal Systems and Creative Labs and practiced law at Cooley LLP. She holds a B.S. from the State University of New York at Geneseo and a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law.
