Deval Patrick has served as a member of Twilio's board of directors since January 2021 and serves on the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. Since 2024 he has served as Senior Partner at The Vistria Group, an impact investment firm, which he initially joined as Senior Advisor.
From 2022 to 2025 he was the David R. Gergen professor of the practice of public leadership at the Harvard Kennedy School, and he previously founded and led Bain Capital's Double Impact Fund from 2015 to 2019. He served as Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts from 2007 to 2015, and holds an A.B. from Harvard College and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
