Randy J. Martinez is an independent director of Plexus Corp., appointed to the board in August 2021, and serves on its Audit and Governance committees. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of MTS Systems Corporation, a global supplier of advanced test systems, motion simulators and precision sensors, until 2021, where he had been an independent director since 2014.
Earlier he held several leadership roles at AAR Corporation, a provider of aviation services, including President and CEO of the Airlift Group and Group Vice President, Aviation Services, and was CEO of World Air Holdings, Inc. A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, Mr. Martinez served 21 years in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a Colonel and Command Pilot. He holds Master of Science degrees from the University of Arkansas and the National Defense University.
