Dr. Joann M. Eisenhart is an independent director of Plexus Corp. and chairs the board's Compensation & Leadership Development Committee. She retired as Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer of The Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company, a financial services and insurance provider, in 2019.
Earlier in her career she held senior human resources leadership roles at Pfizer Inc. and various leadership positions at specialty-chemicals manufacturer Rohm and Haas Company. She earned a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Human and Organizational Development from Fielding Graduate University.
