Lachlan K. Murdoch has served as sole Chair of News Corporation's Board since November 2023, having previously been Co-Chair since 2014, and has been a Director since the company's June 2013 separation from its former parent. He is also Executive Chair (since 2019) and Chief Executive Officer (since 2018) of Fox Corporation, and was previously Executive Chairman of Twenty-First Century Fox and Deputy Chief Operating Officer of the former News Corporation, where he oversaw HarperCollins and the company's Australian businesses including REA Group. He initiated News Corp's controlling investment in REA Group and serves as Executive Chairman of his private company, Illyria Pty Ltd.

Robert J. Thomson has served as Chief Executive of News Corporation and as a Director since the company's June 2013 separation, and in June 2025 the Board extended his employment agreement through June 30, 2030. Before leading News Corp, he was Editor-in-Chief of Dow Jones and Managing Editor of The Wall Street Journal (2008–2012), Publisher of Dow Jones (2007–2008), Editor of The Times of London (2002–2007), and Managing Editor of the U.S. edition of the Financial Times (1998–2002). He began his career as a financial journalist and foreign correspondent, and has been central to publishing-industry efforts to secure payments from technology and social media platforms for news content.

José María Aznar has served as an independent Director of News Corporation since its June 2013 separation and chairs the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee, also serving on the Audit Committee. He was President of Spain from 1996 to 2004 and Executive President of the Partido Popular from 1990 to 2004, and he founded and leads the Foundation for Social Studies and Analysis and el Instituto Atlántico de Gobierno. He brings the Board international government and public-policy perspective and previously served as a director of Afiniti Ltd. and of Twenty-First Century Fox.

Natalie Bancroft has served as an independent Director of News Corporation since its June 2013 separation and sits on the Compensation and the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committees. A member of the Bancroft family, she originally joined the board of News Corp's predecessor following its 2007 acquisition of Dow Jones, and later co-founded SpoonFull LLC, a technology company focused on independent-restaurant supply chains. She has served as a director of the California Ballet and the Pacific Arts Society and brings the Board a global perspective and a background in journalism and the arts.

Ana Paula Pessoa has served as an independent Director of News Corporation since its June 2013 separation and sits on the Audit and the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committees. She is Founder and Partner of the strategic-planning firm Avanti SC and was a partner, chair and chief strategy officer of the Brazilian artificial-intelligence company Kunumi, Chief Financial Officer of the 2016 Rio Olympic and Paralympic Games, and Chief Financial Officer of Globo Organizations. She has also served on the boards of Cosan S.A., Suzano S.A., Credit Suisse Group AG and Vinci SA, bringing digital, technology and financial expertise to the Board.

Masroor Siddiqui has served as a Director of News Corporation since its June 2013 separation and has been the independent Lead Director since November 2022, chairing both the Audit and Compensation Committees. He is Chief Executive Officer of Naya Capital Management UK Limited, an investment firm he co-founded in 2012, and was previously a partner at Children's Investment Fund Management (UK), Managing Director at Canyon Partners, and Senior Vice President at Putnam Investments. He brings the Board deep expertise in finance, investment and global markets and enhances the Audit Committee's financial oversight.

Lavanya Chandrashekar was appointed Chief Financial Officer of News Corporation effective January 1, 2025, succeeding Susan Panuccio. She previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Diageo plc (2021 to September 2024), Global Head of Investor Relations at Diageo (2020–2021), and Chief Financial Officer of Diageo North America (2018–2021), and has held senior finance positions at The Procter & Gamble Company and Mondelēz International. She brings nearly 30 years of experience in international finance and investor relations.

David B. Pitofsky has served as General Counsel of News Corporation since 2015 and was also the company's Chief Compliance Officer from 2015 to 2023, having joined as Deputy General Counsel and Deputy Chief Compliance Officer in 2013. Before joining the company he was a partner at the law firm Goodwin Procter LLP from 2005 to 2013. Earlier, from 1996 to 2005, he served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Eastern District of New York, rising to Deputy Chief of the Criminal Division.

Julian Delany was appointed Chief Technology Officer of News Corporation effective June 30, 2025, succeeding David R. Kline. He most recently served as Chief Technology Officer of News Corp Australia, a division of the company, from 2020 to June 2025, and since joining News Corp Australia in 2012 he was also Managing Director of its digital news, food and lifestyle network (2015–2020) and General Manager of news.com.au (2012–2015). His earlier career included management roles at The Weather Channel.

Ruth Allen has served as Chief Human Resources Officer of News Corporation since 2022, and in November 2025 the company entered an amended employment agreement extending her term through December 31, 2028. She previously served as Chief People Officer of News Corp Australia, a division of the company, from 2018 to 2022. Her earlier experience includes human resources and learning and organizational development roles at Origin Energy, Thiess and Telstra.

Susan Panuccio served as Chief Financial Officer of News Corporation from 2017 until January 1, 2025, when she was succeeded by Lavanya Chandrashekar, and she continued as a Senior Advisor to the company through June 29, 2025. Her departure followed roughly two decades at News Corp, including in senior finance roles across the company's businesses. She remained one of the company's named executive officers for fiscal 2025 compensation disclosure.

David R. Kline served as Chief Technology Officer of News Corporation from 2017 until June 29, 2025, when he resigned to accept another role outside the company and was succeeded by Julian Delany. He remained one of the company's named executive officers for fiscal 2025 compensation disclosure. His resignation was not the result of any disagreement with the company on its operations, policies or practices.
