Andrew C. Wiechmann has served as MSCI's Chief Financial Officer since September 2020 and was appointed interim principal accounting officer effective August 10, 2026. He leads the company's global finance and investor relations functions and is a member of MSCI's Management Committee.

He joined MSCI in 2012 and has held roles including Treasurer (November 2021-June 2022), Chief Strategy Officer (May 2019-September 2020), Interim CFO (March-May 2019), Head of Strategy and Corporate Development (2012-2019), Head of Investor Relations (2017-2019) and Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (2015-2017). Before MSCI he was an investment banker at Morgan Stanley, and holds B.A. degrees in Physics and Economics from Hamilton College.
