Tom Killalea has served as a member of MongoDB's board of directors since December 2015 and as chairperson since July 2019. Formerly at Amazon for 16 years, he was Amazon's first Chief Information Security Officer, led the infrastructure and distributed systems team, and led the Kindle Content Ecosystem. He currently serves on the boards of Akamai Technologies, Capital One Financial Corp., and Satellogic, and previously was a director of Carbon Black and Xoom Corporation.

Roelof Botha has served as a member of MongoDB's board of directors since December 2013. Since January 2003 he has held various positions at the venture capital firm Sequoia Capital, including Managing Member of Sequoia Capital Operations, and earlier was Chief Financial Officer of PayPal. He serves on the boards of Natera, Block, and Unity Software, and previously served on the boards of 23andMe, Eventbrite, and Bird Global.

Chirantan J. Desai has served as MongoDB's President and Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the board of directors since November 2025. Prior to joining MongoDB he was President of Product and Engineering at Cloudflare, and before that held senior roles at ServiceNow including President and Chief Operating Officer, as well as executive roles at EMC Corporation, Symantec, and Oracle. He holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and an MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Dev Ittycheria served as MongoDB's President and Chief Executive Officer from September 2014 to November 2025 and has been a member of the board of directors since September 2014. Before joining MongoDB he was a Managing Director at OpenView Venture Partners, a Venture Partner at Greylock Partners, President-Enterprise Management at BMC Software, and co-founder and CEO of BladeLogic. He currently serves as lead independent director of Datadog and previously served on the boards of Bazaarvoice, Athenahealth, AppDynamics, and DataRobot.

Ann Lewnes has served as a member of MongoDB's board of directors since December 2023. From November 2006 to March 2023 she was Adobe's Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Development, and earlier was Vice President of Marketing at Intel Corporation. She served on the board of Mattel from 2015 to 2024 and currently serves on the board of the Sundance Institute.

Francisco D'Souza has served as a member of MongoDB's board of directors since November 2019. He is Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Recognize Partners, and he co-founded Cognizant Technology Solutions in 1994, serving as its CEO from January 2007 to March 2019 during a period in which revenue grew roughly tenfold. He also served on the board of General Electric Company from 2013 to 2023 and as Vice Chairman of Cognizant from 2018 to 2020.

Charles M. Hazard, Jr. has served as a member of MongoDB's board of directors since October 2009. He is a co-founder and General Partner of the venture capital firm Flybridge Capital Partners, a position he has held since May 2002, and previously was a General Partner at Greylock Partners. Earlier in his career he worked at Company Assistance Limited and Bain and Company.

Archana Agrawal has served as a member of MongoDB's board of directors since August 2019. She is currently President of the business messaging software company Intercom (since December 2023) and was previously Chief Marketing Officer of Airtable and held various marketing leadership roles at Atlassian. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an M.S. in computer science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Hope Cochran has served as a member of MongoDB's board of directors since December 2016 and chairs its audit committee. She is a Venture Partner at Madrona Venture Group and previously served as Chief Financial Officer of King Digital Entertainment and of Clearwire Corporation. She currently serves on the board of Hasbro, where she chairs the audit committee, and previously served on the board of New Relic.

Dwight Merriman, one of MongoDB's co-founders, has served as a member of the board of directors since July 2020 and was previously an advisor to MongoDB. In 1995 he co-founded DoubleClick and served as its Chief Technology Officer for 10 years, and he is also a co-founder of Business Insider and Gilt Groupe. He received his B.S. in Systems Analysis and Computer Science from Miami University.

Michael Berry has served as MongoDB's Chief Financial Officer since May 2025. Prior to joining MongoDB he was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of NetApp from March 2020 through May 2025, and earlier held CFO roles at McAfee, FireEye, Informatica, and other technology companies. He serves on the boards of Rapid7, Calix, and HubSpot.
