Michael F. Hilton has served as a director of Lincoln Electric since 2015, chairing the Compensation and Executive Development Committee and sitting on the Nominating and Corporate Governance committee. He is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of Nordson Corporation, which engineers, manufactures and markets differentiated products and systems for precision dispensing of adhesives, coatings, sealants and other materials, a role he held from 2010 until his retirement in 2019.
During his tenure at Nordson, Mr. Hilton also served as a director. He brings more than 30 years of global manufacturing experience, and the board has determined that his accounting and financial experience qualifies him as an audit committee financial expert.
