Marc A. Howze has served as a director of Lincoln Electric since 2023, chairing the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and sitting on the Compensation and Executive Development committee. He is the former Senior Advisor, Office of the Chairman, at Deere & Company, a global leader in agricultural, turf, construction and forestry equipment, a role he held from 2022 until his retirement in 2024.
During his more than two-decade tenure at Deere, Mr. Howze held numerous leadership roles, including Group President, Lifecycle Solutions and Chief Administrative Officer from 2020 to 2022 and Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer from 2016 to 2020, as well as Vice President of Global Human Resources and Employee Communication and Associate General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Before joining Deere, he served as an officer in the U.S. Army, attaining the rank of major.
