Kroger Co Leadership

Sargent has served as Chairman of Kroger's Board since March 2025 and served as Interim Chief Executive Officer from March 2025 to February 2026; he became a non-executive Chairman effective July 1, 2026. A Kroger director since 2006, he was Lead Director from June 2018 to March 2025 and previously was Chairman and CEO of Staples, Inc.

Sutton is Kroger's independent Lead Director and Chair of the Corporate Governance Committee, a director since 2017. He was Chairman and CEO of International Paper Company until his retirement in 2024, having joined the company in 1984 as an electrical engineer.

Aufreiter is Director Emeritus of McKinsey & Company, where she spent more than 27 years and retired in June 2014 as a director and senior partner. A Kroger director since 2014, she chairs the Public Responsibilities Committee and sits on the boards of The Bank of Nova Scotia and MYT Netherlands Parent B.V.

Brown is Executive Vice President of Global Operations and Chief Supply Chain Officer at Dell Technologies, which he joined in 1998 and where he was named Chief Supply Chain Officer in 2013. A Kroger director since 2021, he serves on the Compensation and Talent Development and Public Responsibilities committees.

Butier is the Non-Executive Chairman of Avery Dennison Corporation, a position he has held since April 2025, after serving as its Executive Chairman and CEO from April 2019 to August 2023 and CEO from May 2016. He joined Avery Dennison in 2000 and held roles including CFO and COO.

Gates was President of MGA Entertainment, Inc. from 2014 until her retirement in 2017 and previously held roles of increasing responsibility at The Walt Disney Company from 1992 to 2012, including CFO of Disney Consumer Products. A Kroger director since 2015, she chairs the Audit Committee and is a designated Audit Committee financial expert.

Hoguet served as Chief Financial Officer of Macy's, Inc. from October 1997 until July 2018, then as a strategic advisor to the CEO until her 2019 retirement. A Kroger director since 2019, she chairs the Finance Committee and is a designated Audit Committee financial expert.

Sourry was President of North America for Unilever plc from 2018 until her retirement in December 2019, capping more than 30 years at the company across the U.S. and Europe. A Kroger director since 2021, she chairs the Compensation & Talent Development Committee.

Vemuri was Chief Executive Officer and a director of Conduent Incorporated from its 2017 spin-off from Xerox until 2019, and previously led Xerox Business Services and IGATE Corporation. A Kroger director since 2019, he serves on the Audit and Finance committees and is a designated Audit Committee financial expert.

Foran was elected Chief Executive Officer of Kroger effective February 2026 and was appointed to the Board the same month. He previously served as CEO of Air New Zealand Limited from February 2020 to October 2025 and held senior leadership roles at Walmart from 2011 to 2020, including EVP and President and CEO of Walmart U.S.

Kennerley was elected Executive Vice President in March 2025 and serves as Kroger's Chief Financial Officer, having been appointed Senior Vice President and CFO in February 2025. Before joining Kroger he spent more than two decades at PepsiCo, most recently as CFO, Europe.

Adcock was elected Executive Vice President and Chief Merchant and Marketing Officer in March 2025 and is responsible for sales and category planning across fresh foods, center store and general merchandise, as well as e-commerce, digital merchandising, fuel, manufacturing and Our Brands. She joined Kroger in 1999 and has held leadership roles across retail operations and merchandising.

Cosset was elected Executive Vice President and Chief Digital Officer in March 2025 and leads Kroger's digital strategy, e-commerce and alternative profit businesses including 84.51 LLC and Kroger Personal Finance. He served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer from May 2019 to March 2025 and previously held leadership roles at dunnhumby USA.

Massa was elected Executive Vice President in March 2025 and serves as Chief People Officer, leading Human Resources, Labor Relations, corporate affairs and shared services. He joined Kroger in October 2010 after 21 years at Procter & Gamble; Kroger has announced he will retire in September 2026.

Vincent was elected Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary in August 2025 and oversees Kroger's Law and Compliance departments. Before joining Kroger he practiced law for 43 years at Cincinnati-based Dinsmore & Shohl, serving as the firm's managing partner from 2007 to 2022.

Jabbar was elected Senior Vice President effective August 19, 2021 and oversees several Kroger retail divisions. She joined the company in 1987 as a clerk in the Fry's Division and has held numerous merchandising and operations leadership roles, including President of the Ralphs Division.

Kelley was elected Senior Vice President in May 2025 and oversees several Kroger retail divisions, having previously served as President of the King Soopers and City Market division and President of the Houston division. He joined Kroger in 2019 after executive roles at Ahold USA, Stop & Shop, Marsh Supermarkets and Price Chopper.

Smith was elected Senior Vice President in January 2026 and oversees several Kroger retail divisions, after serving as President of the Atlanta Division and President of the Delta Division. He joined the company in 1983 as a courtesy clerk in the Ralphs Division.

Fike was elected Vice President and Treasurer effective April 2017, having previously served as Assistant Treasurer and Director of Investor Relations. She joined Kroger in 1999 after working at PricewaterhouseCoopers in various roles including audit manager.

Nichols was elected Group Vice President, Corporate Controller in October 2025 and oversees Kroger's Corporate Accounting and Corporate Tax departments as well as its Accounting Centers and Accounting Modernization teams. He joined Kroger in 2000 as Assistant Controller of the Central Division.

Shaffer was elected Group Vice President of Strategy, Customer Growth and Loyalty in June 2025, after serving as Group Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer. She joined Kroger in 2018 following 12 years in leadership roles at Aldi, Inc.
