Mark A. Emkes has been an independent director of Greif since 2008, chairs the Compensation Committee and serves on the Nominating Committee. From January 2011 until his retirement in May 2013 he served as Commissioner of Finance and Administration for the State of Tennessee.
He was previously Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Bridgestone Americas, Inc. and Bridgestone Americas Holdings, Inc.
