Per federalsignal.com, Jennifer L. Sherman was appointed President and CEO on December 2, 2015 and assumed leadership of the company on January 1, 2016. Since joining Federal Signal in 1994 she has been responsible for litigation, securities compliance, corporate governance, intellectual property, patent law, employment, and mergers and acquisitions.

She was named an EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2024 Midwest Award winner. She earned both a business degree in finance and a law degree from the University of Michigan and is a Fellow of the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University's CEO Perspectives program.
