On March 20, 2026, the Board of Directors approved the hiring of Jerry W. "JJ" Fleeman, Jr. to succeed Todd J. Vasos as Chief Executive Officer, expected to be effective January 1, 2027. He has more than 35 years of experience in grocery retail, spanning strategy, business development, retail operations, marketing and merchandising.
Since April 2023 he has served as Chief Executive Officer of Ahold Delhaize USA, Inc. and a member of the Ahold Delhaize Management Board, and from May 2018 to April 2023 was President and Chief Commercial/Digital Officer of Peapod Digital Labs, where he led the creation of a proprietary e-commerce platform.
