Mr. Wheeler has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer of Dollar General since November 2025 and has more than 40 years of merchandising, operations and planning experience. He joined Dollar General as Vice President, Division Merchandise Manager in July 2006 and was promoted to Senior Vice President, General Merchandise Manager in October 2017.
Prior to joining Dollar General he spent over 20 years at Kmart in various store and corporate roles of increasing responsibility.
