Jay C. Horgen is President and Chief Executive Officer of Affiliated Managers Group and joined the Board of Directors in May 2019. He was appointed President and CEO in 2019, serving as President until June 2025 before his re-appointment to that role in April 2026.

He previously served as AMG's Chief Financial Officer from 2011 to 2019 and as Executive Vice President, New Investments prior to 2011, having joined the Company in 2007. Before AMG he founded the private equity firm Eastside Partners, where he was a Managing Director, and from 1993 to 2005 he focused on asset management as an investment banker in the Financial Institutions Groups at Merrill Lynch & Co., where he was a Managing Director, and Goldman Sachs & Co. He received a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from Yale University.
