Paul Hechenberger has served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of AerSale since August 2025. Before joining the company he was a partner at the law firm Shutts & Bowen in Miami and previously served as General Counsel of iAero Group, Deputy General Counsel of Spirit AeroSystems, and General Counsel and Chief M&A Counsel of BBA Aviation, advising on M&A, commercial and government contracting, compliance and governance. He served in the U.S. Navy as an EA-6B Naval Flight Officer, retiring as a Captain with 30 combined years of active and reserve service, and holds a J.D. from the University of Florida, an MBA from the University of West Florida and a BSBA from Villanova University.
