Forrest E. Norrod has been AMD's Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Data Center Solutions Business Group since January 2023, having joined AMD in November 2014. Before AMD he was Vice President and General Manager of Dell's server business from December 2009 to October 2014 and led Dell's Data Center Solutions and global engineering teams, and earlier worked at Cyrix Corp and National Semiconductor leading integrated x86 CPU businesses after starting his career as a VLSI design engineer at Hewlett Packard. He has served on the board of Intuit since July 2024 and holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech.
