Juan Sartori has served as Executive Chairman of Adecoagro since 2025, following Tether's acquisition of a controlling stake in the company. He is the chairman and founder of Union Group International Holdings, a privately owned investment and private-equity firm he established in 2007 with strategic interests across Latin America in agriculture, energy, forestry, infrastructure and real estate. Mr. Sartori is a co-owner of Sunderland A.F.C., Vice-President of AS Monaco Football Club, and a board member of the European Club Association and France's Professional Football League (LFP). He served as a Senator of the Uruguayan Parliament from February 2020 to February 2025. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business and Economics from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales de Lausanne.

He holds a law degree with honors from the University of Buenos Aires.
