Michael F. Osterer has served as a director of Acorn Energy since August 2018, after advising the Board from October 2017, and is a member of the Audit, Compensation and Nominating Committees. He founded UE Systems, Incorporated in 1973 and has served as its Chairman since then (and as President from 1973 to 1985). He also founded Libom Oil (an oil exploration, drilling and purchasing company, President since 1987), Radon Testing Corporation of America (founded 1985) and Westchester Consultants, a business consultancy recognized for food-product branding. He served in the United States Air Force/Air National Guard, 105th Airborne Division, from 1964 to 1970, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Fordham University with a B.A. in Social Sciences.
