He previously served as Vice President of Legal - Technology, Transformation & Innovation at HCA Healthcare, as Chief Legal Officer at private-equity- and venture-backed software companies, and as Chief Counsel, Chief Privacy Officer and Corporate Secretary to the Ethics & Compliance Committee at Varian, a Siemens Healthineers company. He holds a J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and a B.A. in politics from Occidental College.
