TomoTherapy's helical IG-IMRT installed base more than doubled Accuray's system count (from 226 to more than 550 systems across 32 countries), adding recurring service revenue and a complementary treatment modality. Accuray targeted combined operating expense savings of $25 million in fiscal year 2013, mainly from corporate overhead and marketing, and expected the deal to be accretive to earnings in the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2012. TomoTherapy became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Accuray; Accuray committed to maintaining a strong presence in Madison, Wisconsin, TomoTherapy's operating and corporate headquarters.
