Sylvie Grégoire has served as Chair of Abivax's Board and an independent director since July 2024, and was appointed Board Chair in June 2025. A pharmaceutical and biotech executive with over 30 years in international leadership roles spanning late-stage development, financing and commercial expansion, she is co-founder and was Executive Chair of EIP Pharma Inc. (Boston), which transitioned into NASDAQ-listed CervoMed, developing a disease-modifying treatment for Dementia with Lewy Bodies. She has previously served on the boards of Cubist, Glycofi, Vifor Pharma, Revvity and Novo Nordisk and chaired the boards of IDM Pharma, Corvidia and CervoMed; she currently serves on the boards of CervoMed and F2G Ltd. She holds a BA in Pharmacy from Laval University in Canada and a Pharmacy Doctorate from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She chairs the Nomination and Governance Committee and is a member of the Audit Committee.
June Lee has served as an independent director of Abivax since July 2023. She has been a venture partner at 5AM Venture Management since July 2022 and was most recently Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Esker Therapeutics until September 2021. She previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer of MyoKardia and, before that, on the faculty of the University of California, San Francisco, directing the Catalyst accelerator program, and as a disease area lead in early clinical development at Genentech. She currently serves on the boards of Tenaya Therapeutics, Eledon Pharmaceuticals and GenEdit. She holds a B.A. in chemistry from Johns Hopkins University and an M.D. from the University of California, Davis. She chairs the Remuneration Committee and the Science and Clinical Committee.
Troy Ignelzi has served as an independent director of Abivax since July 2023. He has been Chief Financial Officer of Rapport Therapeutics since October 2023 and was previously Chief Financial Officer of Karuna Therapeutics from March 2019 until its sale to Bristol Myers Squibb, and CFO of scPharmaceuticals from 2016 to 2019. Earlier he held CFO and business-development leadership roles at Juventas Therapeutics, Pharmalex, Esperion Therapeutics and Insys Therapeutics, and began his career at Eli Lilly. He currently serves on the board of Contineum Therapeutics. He holds a B.S. in accounting from Ferris State University. He chairs the Audit Committee and is a member of the Remuneration Committee.
Corinna zur Bonsen-Thomas served as Abivax's Chair from August 2022 to May 2023 and has been an independent director since June 2017. Since April 2020 she has been Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of RetInSight GmbH, an ophthalmic-imaging company she co-founded, and she was General Counsel of Smart Reporting GmbH from 2017 to 2022. From 1999 to 2015 she was a member of the Supervisory Board of Baxter AG (Austria). She has more than thirty years of international experience in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, medical and biotechnology industries. She received her First Law State Examination from Ludwig Maximilian University and her Second Law State Examination from the Bavarian Ministry of Justice. She is a member of the Audit Committee and the Nomination and Governance Committee.
Camilla Soenderby has served as an independent director of Abivax since March 2024. She brings 25 years of international biopharma leadership across Europe, the United States and Asia. She serves on the boards of investment company BB Biotech and biotech company F2G, is a member of the Novo Holdings Advisory Group and an industrial advisor to the private-equity group EQT, and previously served on the board of Affibody. She was formerly a corporate officer at Takeda as Chief Patient Value and Product Strategy Officer, led Global Product Strategy at Shire until its acquisition by Takeda, and was Region Head for Roche Pharma and General Manager for Abbott. She began her career as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company and holds a Master's degree from the University of Copenhagen. She chairs the Commercial Committee and is a member of the Remuneration, Science and Clinical, and Nomination and Governance Committees.
Dominik Höchli has served as an independent director of Abivax since April 2025. He has over two decades of leadership experience in global biopharma, most notably a 20-year tenure at AbbVie/Abbott, where he was Vice President of Global Marketing for Immunology and later Head of Global Medical Affairs. He served as Interim Chief Executive Officer of Catapult Therapeutics from 2021 to 2024, founded the pharmaceutical strategy consultancy Abinode, and serves on the board of Molecular Partners AG, where he sits on the Audit Committee and the Research & Development Committee. He received his medical degree (M.D.) from the University of Bern, Switzerland. He is a member of the Science and Clinical Committee and the Commercial Committee.
Marc de Garidel has served as Abivax's Chief Executive Officer since May 5, 2023 and served as Interim Chairman of the Board from May 2023 to July 2024. He has more than 40 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector, including 12 years as a biotech and pharmaceutical CEO. Between July 2021 and April 2023 he was Chief Executive Officer of CinCor Pharma, leading its sale for up to $1.8 billion to AstraZeneca in February 2023; from September 2020 to May 2021 he was CEO of AZTherapies; and from April 2018 to August 2020 he was CEO of Corvidia Therapeutics, which he led to a $2.1 billion sale to Novo Nordisk. He was Chief Executive Officer of Ipsen from November 2010 to July 2016 and earlier held roles of increasing responsibility at Amgen and Eli Lilly. He has chaired the board of Ipsen since 2010 and has been a director of Claris Bio since 2020. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Ecole des Travaux Publics in Paris, a Master's degree in International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management, and an executive MBA from Harvard Business School.
Didier Blondel has served as Abivax's Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Board Secretary since January 2017. From January 2012 to December 2016 he was Chief Financial Officer at Sanofi Pasteur MSD, a Lyon-based joint venture between Sanofi and Merck and a European leader in human vaccines. Over a prior 20-year period he held a wide range of senior finance positions at Sanofi, in commercial operations and then research and development, where he became global research and development Chief Financial Officer. He began his career as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He holds a Master's degree in Business and Administration from the Commercial Institute of Nancy (ICN), a Master's degree in Finance and Accounting from Nancy II University, and a graduate diploma in finance and accounting.
Fabio Cataldi has served as Abivax's Chief Medical Officer since July 2024. He has over 20 years of experience in the development and commercialization of innovative therapies, with deep clinical, medical and scientific expertise in immunology and gastroenterology, having served in senior research and development roles at Arena Pharmaceuticals, AbbVie, Shire, Pfizer, Biogen and Novartis. Most recently he was Chief Medical Officer at Landos Biopharma until its sale to AbbVie. At Abivax he oversees clinical operations, clinical development, pharmacovigilance and medical affairs. He holds an M.D. in Medicine and Surgery from the Seconda Università degli Studi di Napoli.
