Andrew Burton has served on the 8x8 board since June 2024, where he chairs the Strategic Investment Committee and serves on the Audit and Technology & Cybersecurity committees.
He most recently was Chief Executive Officer of commercetools GmbH, a global enterprise e-commerce software company, from July 2024 to October 2025, and previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Rapid7, Inc. (NASDAQ: RPD) from February 2019 to 2024, overseeing sales and marketing, go-to-market, product development and operations. He joined Rapid7 in 2015 as a Senior Vice President and had earlier been CEO of Revelops, Inc. (doing business as Logentries), which Rapid7 acquired in October 2015.
