Tervita, LLC operates in Exploration & production (oilfield) environmental waste services, is based in United States (Permian, Eagle Ford and Bakken basins). Tervita, LLC was a pure-play environmental waste solutions provider serving oil and natural gas producers in the United States, operating treatment, recovery and disposal (TRD) facilities, engineered landfills, and salt water disposal (SWD) injection wells, plus closed-loop solids control and transportation services. Its assets, staffed by roughly 500 U.S. employees, spanned leading domestic basins including the Permian, Eagle Ford and Bakken. Republic Services (via a subsidiary) bought the U.S. operations from Calgary-based Tervita Corporation to establish a vertically integrated platform in the E&P waste sector.
Establish a significant, vertically integrated platform in the E&P oilfield waste sector, complementing Republic's existing E&P business and core competency in waste handling, recovery and disposal, and positioning the company for future growth.
