NVIDIA Corporation acquired Bright Computing, a transaction announced in January 2022.
Bright Computing operates in High-performance computing software, is based in United States / Netherlands. Bright Computing made software for provisioning and managing high-performance computing systems, with its Bright Cluster Manager used by more than 700 organizations. The software spans Arm and x86 CPUs, NVIDIA GPUs and Kubernetes containers, running at the edge, in datacenters and across hybrid clouds. NVIDIA acquired it to simplify HPC cluster deployment and management.
NVIDIA said combining its own system software with Bright's cluster-management expertise would streamline HPC datacenter operations, expand reach through Bright's partner network and strengthen its DGX and datacenter businesses.
Widely deployed cluster manager and 700+ organization install base complementary to NVIDIA DGX/HPC. Combined system software plus cluster management for faster HPC/AI datacenter operations. Joined NVIDIA's datacenter / DGX software organization.
NVIDIA is changing the world as we know it, and we couldn't be more excited for our team and software to play a part in that.Bill Wagner, CEO, Bright Computing
